About Nomain

"Technology isn't the real challenge, it's the lost knowledge"

The founding story

Throughout our careers, we've witnessed firsthand how legacy software hinders an organization's ability to adapt, innovate, and manage technical debt.

This challenge is most acute in financial institutions, where mainframe systems dating back half a century continue to operate while the developers who built them steadily retire, taking their invaluable knowledge with them.

That observation led us to a conclusion that is at the heart of Nomain: The real challenge isn't the technology itself, but rather the gradual loss of critical institutional knowledge needed to maintain and modernize these powerful systems.

That sparked the idea of Nomain - a product that will bridge the skill gap and democratize access to knowledge about legacy systems across the whole organization.

What we believe in

Our conviction is that great systems are built and maintained by great people with great tools, who understand the system they are working on.

To us it was clear from the get-go, that our product had to be human-centered, empowering people to rediscover the lost mainframe expertise and communicate effectively across domains.

Through advanced, AI-driven features, we can make mainframe work faster, simpler, and far more fulfilling for developers and business analysts alike. The unique combination of a people-first approach and the most advanced technology is what Nomain is made of.
